We've officially passed 600 signatures demanding meaningful change at ACCT Philly.

This fight is about changing a system that continues to fail.
Animals are entering faster than they can be helped. There’s not enough funding, prevention is weak, rehoming efforts are limited, and transparency is lacking.

💬 People say, “That’s just the way it is.”
But the truth is, if the city were providing the support that's truly needed—and if ACCT were being managed effectively—this crisis wouldn’t be happening.
We wouldn’t be losing so many animals, and the shelter wouldn’t be overwhelmed day after day.
These are not numbers. These are lives—hopeful, loving, trusting animals who deserve more than a countdown.

They trusted us. We can’t let that trust be met with silence.

📢 This petition calls for:

• A No-Kill Policy for healthy and treatable animals
• Mandatory rehoming outreach before any euthanasia
• Public transparency and documentation
• Support for pet owners in crisis
• Enforcement of spay/neuter laws and expanded shelter capacity
