Greeting:
“Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I’m a concerned citizen calling to urge Governor Jeff Landry to take a stand against allowing a tiger to be brought to Tiger Stadium tomorrow. I’d like to leave a message for the Governor regarding this issue, if possible.”
Message:
“I, alongside over 15,000 petition signers, am very concerned about the decision to allow a live tiger to be displayed at Tiger Stadium. Tigers are wild animals, and bringing them into a stadium environment for entertainment purposes is unsafe and cruel. Restarting this tradition sends the wrong message about LSU's treatment of animals and may encourage more exotic animal trade and mistreatment.
I strongly urge Governor Landry to uphold LSU's values and ensure that a tiger is not brought against it's own wellbeing to the stadium tomorrow. We must prioritize the well-being of wildlife and support ethical practices that respect animals' natural behaviors and needs. Thank you for your time and consideration.”
Thanks again for supporting this cause. Geaux Tigers!
