Two important meetings about the beach wall!

A huge thank you to each of the 1,235 (and growing) people who have signed the petition about the Winnetka beaches! 

If you’re a local supporter, please consider these additional ways to help:

• Attend a board meeting —We’ve been told the “other side” is rounding up friends and employees to speak in support of the plan at the next village meeting (Tuesday, June 7) and park board meeting (Thursday, June 9)

• 50 people attended the 5/26 Park district meeting and all but one spoke in strong opposition to the wall.

• Now they have called a new meeting for 6/9 and It will be the very first recorded meeting.

• Some fear that our presence at the last meeting will be overshadowed since it wasn’t recorded.

Which means, we must appear again.

- Can’t attend? Share on next door or in groups of people who might be able to!

- Fill out the Winnetka caucus. A supplementary way to let residents know what you’d like them to tell the village and park district what you’d like to see for future plans and use of tax dollars.  You can find it here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/winnetka2022
