We have good news! The government has decided not to move forward with the proposed highway expansion in Goldstream Park at this time. This is a real win, and it’s worth celebrating!

This outcome shows the impact of people coming together. Elder Carl Olsen and W̱SÁNEĆ leadership have long protected SELE₭TEȽ Goldstream, and the community rallied alongside them—sharing their voices, showing up at events, and speaking out for the park.
