We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support in signing and sharing our petition to stop the irresponsible feeding and harassment of sea turtles at Playa Piskadó in Westpunt, Curaçao. With over 1,300 signatures so far, we are making progress—but we need at least 10,000 to present this issue to the Government of Curaçao, and our ultimate goal is to reach 30,000 to ensure they take this matter seriously.
The time is now to harness the Power of Collective Action. Change is only possible when we come together as a community and make our voices heard. The preservation of Playa Piskadó and the well-being of its sea turtles demand more than just individual concerns—it requires a united movement that decision-makers cannot ignore.
To break the cycle of inaction, we must go beyond private discussions and bring this issue into the public sphere. When diverse voices unite in a call for change, those in power must listen. In Curaçao, as in any community, real change happens when people stand together with a shared purpose. The phrase "thirty meters is thirty meters" is a stark reminder that until we act collectively, nothing will change.
Your support has already made a difference, but we need to keep pushing forward. Please continue to share this petition with your friends, family, dive buddies, and anyone who cares about protecting Curaçao’s sea turtles. Every signature brings us one step closer to ending this harmful practice and ensuring a safer future for these incredible creatures.
Thank you again for being part of this movement. Let’s keep the momentum going!
