I'd like to be posting articles written by others here.  But it seems not only have students past and present given up the fight for a fair higher education system in England, but the press have also given up writing about it.  As a father of 3 girls, 2 at university and 2 doing A levels, I find the apathy, disappointing and frustrating.  

With a student loan equaling a 9% tax, on top of all the other taxes, there should be a lot more noise about this.  As a student you may not be thinking about the implications, but when you start working you will!  

Graduate from abroad working here, pay less tax and so have more disposable income in England than English students.  Why is it OK that we are economically disadvantaging our own?
