Petition updateSTOP THE FREE RANGE EGG FARCEREFUSED PLANNING PERMISSION
Nancegollan Action Group
16 Feb 2018
Cornwall Council's Strategic planning committee members unanimously refused planning permission for this egg farm. John keeling CC, Loveday Jenkin CC, Parish Councillors, Tony Woodhams, Mike Tresidder and Dave Smith all put forward well informed and justified arguments against this proposal. They all served their constituents extremely well and should be very proud of their achievement. Andy Norfolk gave an excellent speech with regards to the Landscape visual IMPACT assessments and highlighted the many failures of the LVIA submitted by the applicants. His ability to point out the finer detail and bring it to the attention of the committee members was faultless and extremely professional. Maggie Warriner gave a well structured, evenly balanced speech that gave members of the committee a true and realistic idea of the issues that could affect local residents, considering she lives in one of the most affected properties, she delivered her speech with tact and honesty. Carly Tinkler CMLI and Helen Hamilton (Marches Planning consultants) Have worked extremely hard from day one, without their knowledge and professional advice, we may have been in a very different position today. The applicants have said they will appeal, therefore this petition will remain open until we know what our position will be. Nancegollan Action Group would like to take this opportunity of thanking each and every one of you. We still need signatures, so keep sharing.
