It was surprisingly easy to do.
Although I could name countless issues. I wished to point out one which directly will effect me.
I really do urgh everyone to put in an objection, just one sentence would do and it will make that difference.
We can do this.
Here's mine.....
I have lived at Kus Skewes farm for 27 years, the harm this proposal will cause to the local area, wildlife and the valued landscape far outweigh any perceived merits.
We have a 1 acre lake with an abundance of wildlife, this has been stocked with 400 trout, its water feed source is the upland area known as Pengwedna, the application site. I are concerned the polluted run-off from 112,000 free range hens will cause irreparable damage to the eco system. The lake was built 42 years ago, by my husband's family and we have created a safe pollution free environment where the migratory birds come every year to rear their young, otter and water vole are evident.
The proposal states the intention to use electric fences; we are concerned for the safety of our dogs. The wild deer use this area for cover and a source of drinking water; we do not see any mitigation measures to protect them.
Our only source of water is a bore hole, at some point in the future, this will almost certainly get polluted with chicken manure, regular water testing should take place at the cost to the applicant should this application go ahead.
We fully concur with all the previous objections. The site clearly needs a great deal of development works to satisfy Environmental permits and the planning issues. Surely common sense should prevail, If the site is not right at the start, it will not be right once completed, no matter what infrastructure is placed upon it.
We have over 8,000 online petition supporters and 192 members on the Nancegollan Action Group Facebook page; we hope this massive amount of support will endorse the democratic process we believe in.
Thank you.
