
Dear UNITE 21035 Supporters,
Superintendent Dr. Bedell has released his recommendations, and DAVIDSONVILLE STAYS TOGETHER in the proposed redistricting maps! This is an exciting and important development, but it is NOT the finish line. The process now moves into the hands of the AACPS Board of Education, and we need to stay united and engaged to ensure the Superintendent’s recommendation is upheld.

On 7/24/25 - Webtool Round 2 opened for comment - PLEASE COMMENT.
AACPS has posted the Superintendent's presentation, the full Phase 2 Redistricting Report, and an updated Webtool reflecting the proposed changes. The public is encouraged to visit the new webtool, search your address, and leave comments for the Board of Education to review.
August 18, 2025 – Board Workshop
The Board of Education will hold a public workshop to review Dr. Bedell’s recommendations:
6:00 p.m. | Parham Building, 2644 Riva Road, Annapolis
It will also be broadcast live on AACPS-TV and the AACPS YouTube channel.
Note: No public comment will be taken at this session.
September 5, 2025 – Public Comment Portal Closes
This is your opportunity to express your support! Between now and September 5, visit the redistricting map tool, search your address, and leave a positive public comment thanking the Board and voicing your support for maintaining the Superintendent’s recommendation to keep Davidsonville together.
September 17, 2025 – Next Board Milestone
The Board will determine which proposal(s) to move forward for public hearing.
October 2025 – Public Briefings and Hearings
AACPS staff will conduct briefings, followed by public hearings on the selected proposal(s). We’ll need your voices again during this time.
November 19, 2025 – Final Board Vote
The Board is scheduled to adopt a final redistricting plan, which will go into effect in August 2026.
