Dear supporters,

for months workers have been striking across the country in Iran, due in part to non-payment of wages but also miserable working conditions.

The Iranian regime has been sentencing workers and activists to torture and long prison terms for their peaceful protests, which puts them in life-threatening situations. The strikes are a thorn in the side of the Islamic regime. They want to prevent an union of workers and take brutal action against them.

Current example: Mohammad Reza Dabiran, a Haft Tappeh worker (sugar cane factory worker), who was sentenced to 222 lashes in an illegal trial - for an alleged insult!

The striking workers need our support:

Please sign and share the following Petition!
A donation account has been set up, which directly supports the workers on site.

According to lawyer Dr Paknia, Amir Hossein, Said and Mohammad were visited by him together with lawyer M. Nili! They are doing ok according to the circumstances.

But other prisoners are still in acute danger.

I will keep you posted.

Many greetings
Saideh Azadi
