After attending the funeral of a close family friend's mother today, it was heartwarming to see so many larger families come together, offering each other love and support during such a difficult time.

On a more personal note, I received a letter from my doctor today to support my fight against homelessness, which I immediately handed over to the housing manager. I also took the opportunity to ask if they could STOP, sending me rent bills for my deceased father. These bills are deeply upsetting, and in my current mental state, they only serve to heighten my feelings of hopelessness.

When I last struggled with alcohol, I reached a breaking point and attempted to take my life. The ongoing strain is pushing me dangerously close to that edge again.

To make matters worse, I’ve been informed that my deceased father will be receiving a Notice to Seek Possession for the property. The whole situation feels completely surreal and overwhelming.

It’s disheartening to see how little regard there is for individual circumstances. The 2014 Care Act clearly states that the local authority’s primary concern should be people's care and well-being, yet it feels as if none of that matters. It’s all about numbers, rents, and formalities, rather than treating people like actual individuals.

The case is being handled by Little London Housing Office—the same people who sent an urgent rent bill to my dead father, threatening the loss of the property. It's all absurd and incredibly distressing.
