Please Attend the Planning Commission Meeting This Tuesday!

Land Use Planning in Oregon depends on public involvement. Please join us on January 30th at 7pm  at the meeting of the Wallowa County Planning Commission to ensure that the Commission carefully considers the appeals that the neighbors of the Dollar General development have filed.

There are a number of ways you can participate in this meeting:

1) Attend the meeting in person or by Zoom
2) Share your thoughts by giving verbal testimony
3) Send a letter in support of the appeal effort in advance of the meeting. You’ll find a sample letter here. Written comments must be submitted to the Planning Department at 101 S River St., Room 105, Enterprise OR 97828, or by email – by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

While this development may not immediately impact your ability to enjoy your home, the precedent it sets is a terribly dangerous one.
