TWOA Whānau and School (Apanui BoT & Principal) To Meet

Tēnā koutou, 

He mihi nui mō ō koutou tautoko i tā mātou (me kī tā tātou) kaupapa. 

Our thanks to all of you for supporting our kaupapa to Stop the Disestablishment of Te Whānau o Awatope Bilingual Unit at Apanui School. In under a week, our petition has gained over 500 signatures and managed to get the attention of both local and national media.

The intent behind going public was to provide visibility when it appeared that propsed changes may be pushed through without us being able to access due process. We are grateful for everyone who rallied to accomplish this.

We are happy to update that a hui at whānau request will be held by the BoT on Tuesday the 12th of December at 5pm in the Apanui Primary School staffroom.
