Today I celebrate a mini win for disabled people! With the help of Julie Minns MP for Carlisle Cumbria and her staff who have researched my claim that the DVLA are discriminating against disabled drivers, I have received an email to tell me that she has written to the Equality & Human Rights Commission to request an investigation into a possible breach of the Equality Act 2010 by the DVLA and that she is seeking an opportunity to speak on this issue in Parliament! 
Finally someone is listening and hearing how difficult DVLA practices make it for disabled people. Allowing the voice of the tired, the exhausted, the lost the will to fight, the voice of disabled road users being treated with discrimination, being heard, being listened to.
