Please consider this my acknowledgement of the petition regarding Meadow Wood East. I appreciate you bringing this constituent feedback to my attention.

​As a Trustee, I strive to balance ecological stewardship with the needs of our community. That said, we are currently facing an acute housing shortage here in Lake County.

My review of this proposal carefully weighed the valid concerns regarding tree preservation against the critical need for housing inventory and the long-standing zoning plans for this parcel.

​I encourage all signatories to attend the next Village Board meeting to share their thoughts on the record via public comment.
