Protestors are refusing to leave Fenton Town Hall in a bid to save the First World War memorial housed inside.

They fear a private developer will buy the site – which the Ministry of Justice is looking to sell for £500,000 – and demolish the building.
Now members of the Save Fenton Town Hall group are hoping to put the building, which housed the magistrates court, back into community use by setting up a library inside.
