If the Grade 2 listing of the cenotaph does or can be made to cover the ceramic plaque - it not only offers serious protection for the plaque but also begs a series of difficult 'follow on' questions for the current (and potential) owners in relation to its current state of repair, care and conservation. It also begs a lot more difficult questions about the building that the hopefully Grade 2 listed 'tablet' is an integral part of ie the reference to 'the Town Hall' identifies the building as well as the tablet and so v serious questions about any attempt to remove it or change the location of course.
