This morning at 11am, Ken reported to his local police station surrounded by over 50 friends and supporters, many of whom travelled from London to help fight his battle against the Home Office. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who came today, especially to those who travelled such long distances to be there to support him.

There was a possibility that Ken could have been detained, but we are incredibly relieved that did not happen today. However, that could happen on any day until he is granted asylum here, which is why we must keep continuing the fight. We will be back to support Ken next time he registers at the police station, and every time after that.

In addition to the supporters at Bridgwater police station this morning, another protest was held in Brighton this afternoon. Tomorrow on Friday 7th June at 5pm, there will also be a protest outside the Home Office in London. Let’s make this as large as possible to show the Home Office the strength of public outcry over Ken’s asylum decision! Please see the Facebook event for more details: https://www.facebook.com/events/2558312297526831/

It is crucial at this stage in his fight that we raise money towards Ken’s legal fees, particularly for a judicial review. This could potentially overturn the Home Office decision, but we need to raise money to make it happen. Could you help us achieve us achieve this goal? Please help by donating through our crowdfund: https://chuffed.org/project/fight-kens-deportation

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Your help is keeping Ken in this fight, and he is incredibly grateful for your support. Any donations big or small will help us reach our target of £15000. Collectively you have helped raise over £9000 towards that target, and we are on the home stretch!

Unfortunately, Ken cannot fight this battle alone. Ken needs support for legal fees to ensure we win the fight for him to be granted asylum. Please help by giving whatever you can towards our crowdfund to help #keepkenhome: https://chuffed.org/project/fight-kens-deportation

Many thanks,
Andrew
