Despite his family's efforts and your community support of over 16,000 signatures, Moussa still sits in detention. Moussa has been deprived of his freedom for nearly a year and is kept thousands of miles away from his family. But they haven't given up hope and we continue to fight for Moussa's release. Two weeks ago, Moussa's wife and five children went to Washington D.C. with AFSC. They spoke to legislators about how the current system has torn their family apart. They told their story: that they are struggling to survive as a family; that they are heartbroken without Moussa; and that they live in constant fear of his deportation.
