Despite the fact that over 300 community members have signed onto Moussa's request for release to his family, immigration authorities tried to force Moussa onto a plane this past Monday morning without informing his lawyers. Moussa was handcuffed and escorted to the airport, but refused to board the plane. Moussa remained brave while four officers forcibly shoved him and one punched him in the neck. Moussa exercised passive resistance, thinking of his wife and five children who need him here at home. It is more urgent than ever that we put pressure on the authorities to STOP Moussa's deportation and release him to his family in New Jersey.
