Stop the Demolition of Trinity Episcopal Church in Waterbury, Connecticut

0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,500!

The Immaculate Conception parish in Waterbury, Connecticut is about to demolish the historic Trinity Episcopal Church for a parking lot. The church is on the National and State Registers of Historic Places.

We are petitioning to stop the demolition and find a way to save this historic building.

We need 200 signatures for the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation to take action. Because the property is listed on the National Register, any citizen can seek legal remedy “for the unreasonable destruction” of an historic structure pursuant to the Connecticut Environmental Protection Act (CT General Statutes 22a-15 through 22a-19).
