Lower Makefield Township has announced two meetings where the plan for proposed apartment clusters at the Ishmael House/Danny Quill House property in historic Edgewood Village will be discussed.
According to a proposed plan posted on the township's Twitter page @LMTGOV, the development would add three 2-story apartment buildings consisting of 14 units to the small, triangular property known locally as The Point. Additionally, the historic Danny Quill House aka Carriage Crest would become two rental units, and Ishmael House, constructed in the mid-1700's, would become a single rental unit. A parking lot with entrance from Edgewood Road is planned. The property borders the historic Woodside Chapel.
On Monday December 13 the Historical Commission will meet at 9:30 am to review the plan, followed by further discussion by the Historical Architectural Review Board on Tuesday December 14 at 6:00 pm. Visit the Lower Makefield Township website for more information. Public participation is invited.
