Urgent! Delay the VAC demolition!

The Supreme Court of British Columbia recognized that the demolition of the Vancouver Aquatic Centre should be delayed until November 3rd, 2026, the day after the first meeting of the newly elected Park Board. However, the City of Vancouver is expected to proceed with the demo the next day unless the new Park Board extends the delay at its inaugural meeting on November 2nd, 2026.

The new Park Board commissioners need time to review architectural drawings which were not shown to the current commissioners which demonstrate that renovation is possible, and that retaining the 50-meter pool is also possible.
