An update that we've been told the parent and community request to reinstate funding will be an item on the next board meeting agenda, which will be sometime next week. 

Information has been requested from the board to outline if there is a budget deficit (and what is the amount); why reserve funds ($440,000 as per the last publicly available financial report) can not be accessed to cover the cost of this position for one year due to inadequate community consultation or partner engagement regarding the decision to cut funding; and to explain the board's lack of recruitment for the Preschool Committee, which sits empty, when that group's mandate is formulating recommendations for the Board of Director’s consideration and fundraising additional budget.
