BCTS has plans to do mechanical fire mitigation in Blocks CS-001 (area not provided), CS-002 (area not provided), CS-003 (area not provided), CS-007 (58.32 ha), CS-008 (57.57 ha), and CS-009 (50.08 ha). CS-001, CS-008, and CS-009 are the most applicable to the Hartnell Road area. The entire plan for these blocks collectively not only affects Hartnell but the furthest cutblock south starts at the top of Bates Creek which drains into Briggs and East Vernon Road.
