The city council has tabled the vote until Tuesday Feb 4th!
Here is the link to the current petition. PLEASE SIGN THE CURRENT PETITION:

Thank you to the dozens of people who showed up last night, you all voiced the concerns of the people who signed this petition!
Council member Yarbrough requested tabling the vote and Council McCoy and Crist understand our concerns and have voted against this development.
After 9 months of asking for conditions on this proposed development, we have finally been heard...for the moment....
1 more week to gather as many signatures as possible!
Here is why it is so important at this time:
Mayor Peck joked that constituents should get only 1.5 minutes to speak at the next meeting because “it’s probably going to be the same people”. This development is our neighborhood it affects our daily lives, future not just theoretical numbers. Same people?…....you mean the nearly 1800 signatures in total with 2 petitions and climbing….
I am sorry some of council is exhausted by the 2-hour community meeting, 5-hour planning and zoning meeting, 75 pages of comments from the community, multiple emails, the latest 4-hour city council meeting but this is not trivial.
Let's get more signatures! Pass it on to all that care about the growth of this city.
Email the council and mayor!
I will be keeping you in the loop with the updates.
