Hi Everyone
Firstly, thank you so much for backing this campaign to save the Riverside Theatre. We’ve got signatures pouring in. But now we need to do more than sign.
We need to speak directly to the people who can stop this closure. The more emails they get, the harder it will be for them to ignore us. It takes just 2 minutes.
—just copy, paste, and send.
Step 1: Copy these email addresses into your email (BCC if possible): dupcoleraine@parliament.uk

Step 2: Use this subject line: Please Help Save the Riverside Theatre
Step 3: Copy and paste this message (or make it your own):
Dear Councillors and MLAs,
I’m writing to urge you to do everything in your power to stop the closure of the Riverside Theatre in Coleraine.
This theatre is more than bricks and mortar. It’s where people find their voice, connect through creativity, and build something bigger than themselves. It’s been a lifeline for local actors, students, drama societies, and audiences for generations.
Its closure would be a devastating loss—not just to Coleraine, but to the cultural fabric of the entire region.
There are real solutions: lease it, support a community-run model, or explore shared management. With vision and leadership, the Riverside could grow into something even more valuable.
The community is already standing up for this space. Please stand with us—and act now.
Thank you,
Thank you for being part of this. Let’s keep the pressure on—and make sure they know we’re not going away. #SaveTheRiverside #ColeraineTheatre #ActNow
