I've been in touch with our local MP, Julie Minns, who happens to live in Denton Holme, to ask if she can use her influence to try and reverse this decision. Julie has got back in touch very quickly, and I am hoping she can arrange a meeting with The Cumberland Building Society, particularly as there doesn't appear to have been any consultation with the local community about closing the Denton Holme Branch.
