Hello All,

Thank you for making the time to join and express your concerns regarding the Bimini Plaza Project - both with the process and the potential impact. As I mentioned, this was a starting point conversation to begin troubleshooting, and bringing more voices together. As I believe Jimmy Lizama said - tough conversation, but great to get folks in the neighborhood together and talking. I see a lot of opportunities to come from this.

In that spirit, I am hoping to compile emails from the Bimini/White House community. If you have begun collecting emails from neighbors, please ask if they are ok with you sharing those email addresses with me. I'd like to have a thread to provide updates.

As promised, I'll be working with LADOT to review a circulation assessment, get their recommendation on how to proceed, and request an updated survey from the applicant.

As a reminder, the EcoVillage is hosting a meeting on February 8th, 1pm in the lobby of 117 Bimini Street. This is a meeting hosted and led by EcoVillage to engage their neighbors, and is not facilitated by the City.
