Layla’s Letter

We received this letter into the club from one of our younger swimmers. 

Hello my name is Layla and I am 7 years old.I have been swimming with Askeaton swimming club since I was five years old and I really love It. I was really sad when they told me the pool would close for a long time and that means I cant swim there. I am swimming there 4 days every week and I was getting really good. Also my little sister Isabelle has been trying really hard to get better at front crawl and back crawl so she would be able to join the club. They have the best coaches and all my friends are there. I really really don’t want the pool to close. It’s my favourite place in the whole world and It makes me happy when I’m sad. 

Please Please Please don’t close the pool 

We won’t be able to swim.
