The City of Sacramento is updating their general plan. Of special note: Section 10 relates to Parks, and section 11 relates to “Special Study Areas” yikes- more on that shortly- which include our unincorporated county neighborhoods in Arden Arcade.

Let your voice be heard. We cannot imagine that the city’s future actions in Del Paso Regional Park are going to be affected by our community’s view on this stuff any more than they have been taken into account in the past (circa late 1970s and on!) but if we don’t make our thoughts known—  it is sort of like giving them permission to speak for us! And we all know how dangerous that can be. (Just ask neighbors in former North Sacramento about that!)
