From the Mayor’s Office news update article: 

“…the former Powerhouse Science Center on Auburn Boulevard…The former science center, which is owned by the city…

…there is no excuse for allowing a city-owned asset that is not being used for anything else to lay fallow,” Mayor Steinberg said Monday.”

But where is this “city owned asset” located? In the very tip of the easternmost boundary of the District 2. Surrounded by county residents. Who don’t vote in city elections. Close to us, but far from them someone has said… Very FAR from them. 

Oh, and WHERE exactly did the “former” science center relocate to??? Someplace that would have been perfect for a very large downtown homeless shelter. In the City of Sacramento….
