The City of Sacramento has decided that our County Neighborhoods need to be further punished. It has decided to repeat history with Renfree Field. City Parks has a state grant for 3.2 million to renovate the ballpark, but again no money for maintenance or security. They want to reopen the parking lot on Bridge Road with no oversight, no police presence, and no rules to follow and enforce. They will probably come back and try to falsely reassure us by saying “No, we will post the rules”.

We need as a community to get this stopped to curb the flow of unlawful activity that will surely again overcome our neighborhoods. We have no desire to relive the prostitution, drug trafficking, gang activity, vandalism, and destruction of public and private property that we endured just a few years ago.
