Wow! We have over 500 signatures so far! As of 1/2/24, the City of Oceanside's four City Council members and the Mayor have been in contact with me. This is a first, and very welcome after being in the dark since 12/14/23. They are noting my passion to save this tree, and a lot of it shows because you all have signed my petition. At this point they are re-evaluating their previous decision to cut down this tree. City officials said they will be making a decision soon. A a few tree specialists that I have reached out to on my own have inspected my tree (5 or so) and they believe with proper pruning, this  tree will not be a danger to anyone or anything. Please keep my tree in your thoughts as the  City does a deeper analysis of the health of the tree. I will be praying throughout each day that my tree will be spared. Thank you!
