Uber SeattleWA, United States
Apr 5, 2018
On April 3, a Seattle City Council committee held a meeting to discuss a resolution that would increase rates for Uber trips in order “to protect the market share of taxi drivers” according to City Council staff member Tony Kilduff. Dozens of TNC drivers and riders attended the meeting to speak out against the resolution and highlight how it could increase drunk driving, congestion, and expenses for Seattleites already struggling with a high cost of living. The committee members voted to advance the idea anyway. Now they need to hear from you. We need your help! City Council needs to hear your story and how significantly raising rideshare rates would impact you and your community. Fill out our form and let us know if you’d be willing to make your voice heard.
