1100 People have signed the petition. From 47 States and 32 Countries. Thank you! From my heart! ❤️ The killing of the Oklahoma Bears starts Sunday- October 1st. Pray for the Bears. The Choctaw Nation Wildlife Conservation Department boasts of issuing 1,000 Bear Hunting permits last year. I don’t know how many permits were issued by the State of Oklahoma. There was only an estimated 1300 Bears in the Ouachita forest range. ( pronounced Washita) Where most of the Bears lived, and were killed. Archery Season has an unlimited quota again this year, of Bears that can be killed. There are only an estimated 2,200 to 2,500 Bears in the entire State of Oklahoma.

Please continue to sign and share the petition.  The petition will close at midday. But please continue to call and e-mail the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. The Chief and Assistant Chief of the Choctaw Nation and the Choctaw Wildlife Conservation Department. Tell them this Bear hunt is vile. That you thought Native Americans were better than this. Ask them if they are Paper Indians? To promote Sports killing of the wildlife-does not bring honor to the Choctaw Tribe. And is against the Choctaw Ancestral ways. A True Indian would not wage war against the wilderness for fun.
