We are very grateful to two members of the influential All Party Parliamentary Motor Group, Richard Burden MP (Labour) and Julian Knight MP (Conservative), for meeting with us this afternoon at Westminster. Both very considerately made time for us in their busy schedules, at incredibly short notice given the urgency of the situation we face. Once again our team had a very productive meeting with the MPs who were deliberately identified by us as they are both fans of long circuit motor sport. Through the discussion, certain issues did arise such as our sport not being part of the generally accepted MSA, and that they were not aware of our own governing body the ORC. We fully explained the scenario to the Members, who were supportive and offered us constructive advice as to how to proceed moving forward, for which we were all extremely grateful for their counsel. With the review by Mayor Johnson reported to be on 26th January, time is not on our side and so we need to step things up a little starting tomorrow....
