Today we release our own futuristic artist's impression of AFC Wimbledon's and Galliard's plans for the site.... Please note the inclusion of the tidal waves crashing up to the buildings, as the water table rises after the latest flood in 2017!! The artist has gone to great lengths to show that the proposed underground car park is going to be flooded big time. Plough Lane itself will look more like the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans when Katrina, struck than the tree lined area beautifully designed and depicted by a highly paid firm of architects. For the residents of Merton and Wandsworth our picture is nearer to the future reality as things stand, than the image put forward by the creative people at Camden Town's 'Sheppard Robson' as shown in AFC's expensive glossy brochures. Be under no illusion supporters, with no deep pockets to finance our campaign, this has now become a true David v Goliath battle. Can we give Goliath a bloody nose? YES WE CAN! YES WE WILL!!
