Dear Supporters,

Hot off the press this evening is the disappointing news that Cheltenham Borough Councillors have voted in favour of their splitting of Gloucestershire along an East - West split. 

This means their proposal will now go to Government along with the proposal for Gloucestershire to stay in tact.

As a reminder of what this will mean: 

The East - West split of Gloucestershire would see the desegregation of our County services: 

🔥Fire & Rescue
🚸 Children’s services 
🩼 Health & Social Care 
🚌 Public Transport
🚧 Roads and Highways

This break up will cost more and bake in division and inequality across our county with Gloucester, Forest of Dean and Gloucester City facing a multi million £ deficit. 

Please continue to support our petition which will be sent to Government to show the strength of local feeling for our county to stay together.
