Thanks in part to your signature on the change.org petition, the campaign to STOP the Bradford Bypass now has the attention of the federal government.
MP Leah Taylor Roy is sponsoring a petition to the Canadian House of Commons asking the federal government to take action. We are calling upon the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to designate the Bradford Bypass project for a full federal impact assessment through the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada.
Unlike other petitions, if a parliamentary petition gets 500 signatures, it is presented in the House of Commons and the government is required to respond.
