3 года назад была создана петиция с такой же целью - остановить кровавое месиво на Фарерских островах! ( ссылка тут http://chng.it/kxF5VjKk2g Также на английском языке было создано 2 петиции ( http://chng.it/YwjhQsMwnQ http://chng.it/wSy2pvrN4T Но все также безрезультатно... 

Данные петиции набрали невероятно малое количество подписей, после чего они были закрыты. То есть проблема не была решена вовсе. Но этот конец может быть не таким печальным, ведь все в наших руках! 

Меня лично эта "традиция" местных жителей очень шокировала, мне стало больно . Ведь сейчас мы живём в 21 веке, доказано, что у животных также есть чувства, разум, они ощущают боль и т. д. Но, к сожалению, высказаться они не могут, что им делают больно, но можем мы! Я думаю, мы с Вами сможем остановить данное  кровавое "развлекательное мероприятие", если сможем достучаться до международных организаций по защите прав животных, а также властей ЕС, Дании и в особенности властей Фарерских островов и призвать к ответственности и установлению ряда законов, дабы срочно прекратить эти зверства в отношении китов и гриндов (чёрных дельфинов), а также защитить их в будущем . 

Напоминаю, что Фарерские острова, хоть и являются автономным регионом, все же принадлежат королевству Дании. И ведь этот факт очень важен в этой всей печальной истории. Дания - часть Европейского союза, где декларируется гуманное отношение к животным , соответственно, власти Фарерских островов обязаны придерживаться данного закона. 

Каждый год убивают невообразимое количество китов и дельфинов, причём лишь ради забавы, и море становится жутко кровавым. Повторюсь, что таким вот действом НАСЛАЖДАЮТСЯ! не только те мужчины, которые забивают бедных животных до смерти, до этого прежде заманивая в ловушку и добивая, но также женщины и дети. Таким образом, они показывают будущим поколениям, что это норма. Но такие вот действия должны в современном мире считаться просто неприемлимыми, потому что они полны жестокости и насилия. 

Мы должны остановить эти массовые убийства ! Подпись каждого из нас очень важна!

3 years ago there was a petition with the same goal - to stop the murderous bloodbath on the Faroe Islands ( here is a link- http://chng.it/kxF5VjKk2g Unfortunately, only in Russian, but there were also two same petitions in English language( here they are - http://chng.it/wSy2pvrN4T  , http://chng.it/YwjhQsMwnQ And still no result... 

These petitions had extremely low amount of signatures, and after that they were closed. So the problem was not solved at all. But the end can be not so sad, for everything is in our hands! 

This murderous bloody "local tradition" shocked me very hard, I was deeply hurt. For we live now in the 21st century, it has been proved that the animals have feelings, mind, they feel pain and etc. But, unfortunately, they cannot say that they are being hurt, but we can! I strongly believe, we can TOGETHER stop this murderous full of blood and pain " entertainment for locals" if we can be heard by international animals rights' protection organisations and also by authorities of European Union, Denmark and, what is more IMPORTANT, AUTHORITIES OF THE FAROE ISLANDS, to invoke the responsibility and to establish the law in order to cease immediately this brutality to whales and grinds( black dolphins), and to protect them in future as well. 

I remind that the Faroe Islands, though are the autonomous region, belong to Kingdom of Denmark. And this fact is very important in this whole sad story. Denmark is a part of European Union, where the humane attitude towards the animals is declared, consequently, the authorities of the Faroe Islands are obliged to adhere strictly to this principle. 

Each year the unimaginable amount of whales and dolphins are killed there, and that is only for entertainment, and the sea becomes a whole bloodbath. I would like to say it again, that this show is being enjoyed not only by men, who beat the poor animals to death, and before that these men lure them into a trap, but also by women and children. And this way they show the future generations, it is normal. But these actions cannot be tolerated in today's world, because they are full of cruelty and violence. 

We should stop these slaughters! Signature of every one of us is very important!!
