As required by law there must be a public consultation period which began Thursday, September 11 and ends Monday November 10th. During this time the public  can voice their concerns to Strada and the government regarding the application for their under the water table Blast Quarry. 

Melancthon Against Quarries has launch a letter of objection campaign with a one-click letter writing web app. This letter writing app will permit you to write an effective letter in 3 minutes or less.Your Letter of Objection is crucial to the success of our campaign to stop the quarry.
According to the Aggregate Resources Act, Strada has the obligation to respond to every credible objection within these letters, in order to receive approval. 

A swift response is also crucial in making sure that this project does not get ‘fast-tracked’ by Doug Fords environmentally dangerous Bill 5.
