There is no state or commomwealth law to protect us

We are all going to die, death and taxes, right? There is no State or Australian law to protect you/your family/your estate from greedy banks between the date of your death (or an accident when you are incapacitated) and the granting of Probate (or Power of Attorney). This is why banks can keep charging, adding interest, charging extra non payment fees etc etc and Aussie families, widows and widowers are finding themselves in dire financial straits or with extra debt!
