6 Nights of 'Crime Scene Gags' - Enough is Enough!

Dear Petition Supporters

Sending you all an update because while we might not have posted the last couple of days, please don't think we haven't been super busy in the background continuing the fight for human decency which, as we have said before, should never, ever be sidelined in the name of artistic impression. 

Funnily enough, back in 2021 Amanda Knox herself was outraged that other people were profiting from her story with their own artistic impression. Anyone remember a movie called Stillwater with Matt Damon? 

Amanda Knox heavily criticized the film, arguing that the creators profited from her name and distorted her story without her consent. It was all over the press. 

Imagine, that, someone making money from a deeply tragic story without asking permission. Without having any hint of consideration for the feelings of those who might be irreparably hurt or traumatised by those actions? 

Imagine someone turning the rape and murder of your sister, your daughter, your friend into a stand-up comedy?

We can say with 100% certainty that Meredith's sister Stephanie, does not give her consent for her ongoing trauma to be raised on the public stage, quite literally on this occasion. 

That is why the petition continues. That is why we are so grateful for the public outpouring of support for what is right, the emails we have have received from around the world and the especially poignant messages of support and love from Perugia. 

We have endured six nights of 'crime scene gags' and enough is enough. Please keep sharing, please keep signing, the show might be on but so is the opportunity to send a message to everyone who enabled this offensive and disrespectful circus to have air-time.
