This petition will be submitted to the City of Puyallup on March 15, 2024, which is the last day for public comment on the DEIS.  We need to send a strong message that this proposal is unacceptable and causes major impacts to our community. 

Alternative 2 (reduced intensity) in the DEIS reduces the warehouses from 2.6 million sq. ft. to 1.7 million sq. ft.  But even that is too many warehouses, which would still have nearly 6,000 trucks and cars per day and destroy precious historic farmland. 

The NO ACTION - NO Warehouses is preferred.  However, if the City believes that is not defensible, then reducing the warehouses to 1 million sq. ft. is the best option.  See attached map.
