Our Kids Deserve Healthy Futures, Too. Join Us to Protest Justin Ishbia on October 28.
Hi everyone,
Next Wednesday, October 28, we’re joining coalition partners to protest Justin Ishbia’s speaking engagement at the Invest for Kids conference.
The conference is at the Harris Theater. We’ll meet at the Millennium Park Welcome Center at 201 E. Randolph Street, then walk together to the theater for the protest.
There’s a sharp contradiction in giving a platform to someone whose land deal is tied to a proposal that would bring round-the-clock train maintenance, diesel exhaust, pollution, noise and industrial activity next to thousands of homes, parks, and schools. Our children deserve safe, healthy places to live, play, and learn. Their futures shouldn’t be treated as collateral damage in a billionaire’s land swap deal.
