🚨 ACTION NEEDED TONIGHT: EMAIL AMTRAK’S BOARD BEFORE THEY MEET TOMORROW

The Amtrak Board of Directors meets tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9, and the meeting will be available for the public to watch virtually.

We are asking everyone who has signed this petition to do two things tonight:

1. EMAIL THE AMTRAK BOARD

Tell them you oppose Amtrak's proposed Canal Yard maintenance facility in Bridgeport.

Tell them you oppose placing a massive 24/7 maintenance operation next to our homes and historic Armour Square Park.

Ask the Board to stop this project from moving forward at this location.

Commissioner John Daley has already submitted a letter to the Amtrak Board expressing his opposition to the proposed Canal Yard Project and its potential impacts on our surrounding neighborhoods.
