Rural Neighborhood Lone MountainLas Vegas, NV, United States
May 25, 2024

Please see the below message from Hunter Cain, candidate for County Commission District C - the only candidate to openly confirm his opposition to the LDS Temple.

Dear Friends and Rural Community of Lone Mountain,

I stand firmly with you in opposing the proposed 200-foot high Latter-Day Saints Church construction.

We all saw the planning commission approve the plan to move forward last week. Moreover, it's highly likely to pass the Las Vegas City council during there general meeting in mid-July.

The fight to preserve our rural community is not over.

Being the sole Clark County Commission C candidate openly against this proposal, your voices are crucial if we are to explore all available avenues to support our community. This includes looking to see what, if any, options can be done on the County Commission level.

To accomplish this, I need your help to win this upcoming primary election. Early voting starts today and the last day to vote is June 11th. Contributions help, adding and sharing on social media is great. Along with volunteering during the next two weeks of early voting to help tell people to Elect Hunter Cain.

Can I count on you to contribute to my campaign today?

After the primary election and City of Las Vegas vote, I plan to hold a Lone Mountain listening sessions to not just talk about our opposition, but collaborate on ideas we can do to keep Lone Mountains sky's void of light pollution and it's view open to all residents.

I pledge to advocate for your concerns and explore all available avenues to support our community.

Will you stand with me?

Hunter Cain

Candidate, Clark County Commission
