Hi Petition Signers,
In light of the news and the fact that people will start having their devices totally blocked from Monday (28 Oct).
I've created a Google Form that you can complete in order to gather some statistics about the devices impacted, as well as the messaging that's being provided.
4G/5G Device Blocking & Capabilities Submission Form
Many people have only been notified in the last 2-3 days that they will be blocked from all services on Monday!
There is also no real transparency with what devices will be blocked and why, the exact Telco lists aren't public and the AMTA checker isn't reliable.
Even devices that currently work perfectly for VoLTE Calling and Emergency Calling on all networks are receiving these messages!
Most of the form questions are optional, you can complete as many or as few as you wish.
Everyone is welcome to complete the form, even if your device is presently 'supported' by your telco. (The form is primarily designed for Android Devices)
Having a list of both 'known supported' and 'unsupported' (blocked) devices will help people know what devices are actually impacted. (At least at the moment)
I will be compiling the results into a publicly accessible spreadsheet and I will also seek to provide some of the information to the 3G Inquiry Committee.
I would also encourage you to call the offices of your Local MP & the Offices of the Senators for your State to complain about this.
(Please call as many as you able to, without complaints nothing can change)

Cutting off over a quarter of a million people over the span of the next week is going to cause absolute mayhem, and it will be the fault of the Minister & ACMA!
The telcos and industry have completely failed to manage this properly, whilst knowing full well about the compatibility & standardisation issues that exist.
The European Telecoms expert that 'blew the whistle' on the VoLTE Calling issues in 2022 has called what's happen here 'a stunning mess'.
As a reminder, if your device presently works for VoLTE Calling you should urgently screenshot and screen record it placing Calls on 4G (with and w/o a sim), so you can prove that yes, your device does (or did) work and the telcos are wrong!
(Also include your IMEI, IMS Status, and other info to show it can connect to LTE Band 28)
Once they start blocking devices you won't be able to prove your device works!
