Amazon was accused by a Warden in Malvern Arkansas in Feb, of lacing books and sending them out of the hub in LR Arkansas. I spoke with Amazon in Little Rock Arkansas and they have said there is no way in hell that books from their outlet were laced with drugs. I had ordered 4 books from them in Jan and Feb only to have had the books refused and destroyed.

I spoke with Thiftbooks.com today as well because they were on the list of Banned outlets in Ouchita River Unit in Malvern Arkansas. The lady whom refunded my money said there was NO way their books could have been laced with drugs, they don't hire folks that do such an act. 

I was told by the Mail Room in ORU yesterday that not all ADC units adhere to the banning of outlets, just theirs. I asked why and she said POLICY. She said one of the many units in Arkansas may allow Amazon or Thiftbooks.com but they would not due to the ability the company has of allowing " laced " books to come through.
